We are a church family in Washington, North Carolina, built on one simple instruction: seek ye first the Kingdom of God. Everything we do flows from that.

Our Story

A house for God, family and community.

Kingdom Life Community Church exists to help people put God first and watch everything else fall into place. We believe that when a person seeks the Kingdom, families get stronger, communities get healthier, and lives are changed.

Every Sunday at 12:07 PM, we gather for Sunday Adoration to honor God, lift His name and make room for His presence. From our Midweek Refresher to our small groups, revivals, Homecoming and community gatherings, every part of church life is about growing closer to God and to each other.

Whether you have been walking with Christ for years or you are just curious, you will find people here who are glad you came. Come as you are. Bring somebody with you. Everybody is invited.

Our Vision

God, Family, Community. By putting God first, we build stronger families and communities rooted in His love and righteousness.

Our Mission

Equipping the Kingdom using Kingdom Life Principles. When we seek God’s ways, He gives us what we need to teach and live out His principles, helping others grow in faith and service.

To inspire, empower, encourage and provoke individuals to fulfill their God-given purpose, and to stay focused on His purpose in everything we do.

What We Believe

Rooted in the Word.

Our faith is built on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Here is a summary of what we hold to be true.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, our final authority for faith and life, and the same yesterday, today and forever.

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is the Son of God, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again and is coming back.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, empowering us to live a godly life and to serve with His gifts.

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received by faith in Jesus Christ, and not earned by works.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, make disciples and demonstrate the Kingdom on earth.

Senior Pastor Glenwood A. Horton II and Lady Quisha N. Horton lead Kingdom Life Community Church with one simple conviction: when you seek first the Kingdom of God, everything else falls into place. Their ministry is built on God, Family and Community: loving God, loving people and impacting lives right here in Washington, North Carolina.

Pastor G.A. Horton preaches with passion and practical faith, equipping believers to live out Kingdom Life Principles every day of the week, not just on Sunday. Under his leadership, Kingdom Life gathers for Sunday Adoration, the Midweek Refresher, revivals and Homecoming as one church family where everybody is invited.

Lady Quisha Horton carries a heart for women and families. As host and visionary of Captured & Crowned, she leads Kingdom Women in honoring breast cancer survivors and reminding every woman that she is seen, valued and crowned by God.

Together, as Lead Servants, Pastor Horton and Lady Q are preparing to plant a second Kingdom Life location in Spring 2027. New territory. New vision. Same God.
